Determine the goal of a meeting in advance. Always keep in mind what you want to achieve.
Step into your resourceful state, your genuine and confident yourself, and be completely in line with yourself, with your thoughts and environment. It is important to begin a meeting with a relaxed attitude.
Let the meeting participants relax. Even though someone is not looking at you, it does not mean they are not listening to you. There is a logical, scientifically proven explanation for this. Some people focus much better and it is much easier for them when they are looking somewhere else other than at their interlocutor.
Pay attention to time. It does not matter how long the meeting lasts, what is important is what you accomplish during that meeting. If you do not come up with the desired result during the first half an hour, make a break.
Allow participants to disagree, and make comments on each other’s opinions. Perhaps then they will come up with some really good ideas.
Pay attention to other participants in the meeting, their behavior and reactions. If you notice that someone is not listening to you, you should change what you are doing.
All papers, reports, brochures are shared after the most important part of the meeting. In this way, you avoid the possibility of shifting the attention of the participants to something else.
When you attain your goal – close the meeting. It is senseless to sit and talk again about the same topic when the deal is reached. Use your time wisely.
Make a conclusion. The conclusion is also that there is no conclusion.
